I noticed one hummingbird coming to our feeder is mostly back, not the distinctive green of the ruby throated that we always get. Here is the low down!
The Black-Chinned is in our area. Though mostly seen in the west it is also known to come as far as east as Ohio! I never knew 🙂 Welcome little one, but please try to share with the others at the feeder and the Jewelweed. (there is only a very slight difference in size between the two kinds.)
