My Sister Shared A Musical Group

My sister and I have never agreed on much. Our entire lives have been fraught with conflict. There have been times that if I wrote her a letter or note she totally misunderstood my meaning. I would even have other people read it to find out if I was mistaken in how I expressed myself.

As we entered our sixties and seventies we have found ways to relate with much less conflict.

Recently she told me she had finally found a Christian music group that she likes. If you have read my blog for long you are aware that I have many kinds of Christian music that please me and feed my soul.

When Mom taught us how to sing in the car on vacations my sister was right there alongside me in the backseat of the car. (Yes, our car had cozy wings. Do you remember those?) She also taught us how to harmonize.

Cozy wings which the auto makers sadly no longer install!

So I put the name of her favorite group into YouTube music and I agreed with her that their arrangements are very nice.

And here is my favorite arrangement so far –

Some of their arrangements are recorded a Capella. I first heard the medley above by Crowder singing How He Loves Us and then Stephany Gretzinger singing Reckless Love of God. I am delighted we found something to agreed upon!

By the way, we are having lunch in a couple days with a second cousin we have never before met. Hoping for laughter and a good time!
